About Me

I am a professional OCN qualified Infant Sleep Consultant, OFSTED registered professional Nanny, and OCN qualified Maternity Nurse based in Salisbury and the surrounding areas. I am currently undergoing a Level 6 OCN Holistic Sleep Coaching qualification, which is the highest level of sleep qualification available and a Level 4 OCN Allergies, Reflux, and Colic qualification.
I have worked as a professional Nanny for the past 10+ years, working with a huge number of wonderful children in that time. I currently spend my working week nannying for many regular families ranging in age from newborn to 16 years old.
Throughout all of my practice I use gentle, attachment based, parenting techniques and focus on empathy, responsiveness, and physical closeness. I use the four central elements of gentle parenting (respect, understanding, empathy, and boundaries) when working with children and enjoy being child-led. I use natural resources as often as possible in my practice and spend a lot of time encouraging learning through outdoor play.
As a child I was fortunate enough to live in multiple countries, experiencing many cultures, and lived for three years on the east coast of the USA. I attended a private school in Bath, Somerset, and went on to graduate from the University of Plymouth with a BSc Hons degree in Business Management. I lived and worked in London for 4 years as a Corporate Account Manager for an accountancy training company before I was diagnosed with Myalgic Encephalomyelitis (also known as Chronic Fatigue Syndrome) and left London for treatment.
During my battle with ME/CFS, I developed a really keen interest in sleep and became fascinated with how sleep affects the body and the mind. I went on courses to learn as much as I could on sleep, mainly in order to help me better manage my own condition at the time.
Fast forward to now and my interest in sleep and my innate love of working with children has lead to this natural progression of becoming a Sleep Consultant, Nanny, and Maternity Nurse. I’ve developed and expanded my existing knowledge by learning more about infant and child sleep and I’ve used my practical childcare experience to help understand the vast array of sleep practices, from the ‘cry-it-out’ method (one which I do not use or advocate) to co-sleeping and gentle retreat methods. I have naturally found myself aligning with gentle parenting techniques and really prioritise attachment theory in my work.
I would absolutely love to help and guide you through the exhausting journey that is raising children, and I hope that the brief description above helps you to get a better feel of who I am and how I might be able to help. I have also listed my other qualifications below, which I am constantly adding to!

Elizabeth started working for us as a Maternity Nurse after the birth of my third child. I had had a c-section and was struggling with recovery on very little sleep and very active twin 4 year old boys. Elizabeth quickly helped to identify some latching issues and suggested we switch bottle brands, which helped hugely to relieve my babies wind and discomfort overnight. She was a huge help around the house, always doing things without needing to be asked. When baby was sleeping she would batch cook so that I had quick and easy meals for the boys after nursery. She was an absolute rock when my husband was deployed for work and kept me sane. I would recommend Elizabeth to anyone.
We have had Elizabeth help us out with our 4 children for about 7 years now. She is the perfect nanny and is everything we could ask for. She always arrives promptly, gets stuck in and always goes above and beyond. Our children love seeing her and have formed a lovely bond. She’s been there during special moments such as when we brought home our youngest two children from the hospital and she was even at our wedding taking care of the children.
Everyone at the wedding commented on how lovely she was. She has also been a big support to me during multiple health issues. I would recommend her services to everyone. Words can’t describe how amazing she is and continues to be.
Before working with Elizabeth, Harry would only sleep on me and would immediately cry when placed down on his back. I didn’t want to use any sleeping techniques that involved crying so reached out to Elizabeth for help. She was able to quickly identify an issue with Re ux (which I feel awful for not spotting earlier) and has given us so much support and guidance. We are now able to put Harry down in his own cot, it’s a miracle! He’s like a new baby. She also made sure I was OK and offered me support with my own sleep. I didn’t realise what bad habits i’d gotten myself into.
