About Me
I am a professional OCN qualified Infant Sleep Consultant, OFSTED registered professional Nanny, and OCN qualified Maternity Nurse based in Salisbury and the surrounding areas. I am currently undergoing my Level 6 OCN Holistic Sleep Coaching qualification, which is the highest level of sleep qualification available, as well as a Level 4 OCN qualification in allergies, reflux, and colic. I have also recently qualified as a Maternity Nurse.
I have worked as a professional Nanny for the past 10+ years, working with a huge number of wonderful children in that time. I currently spend my working week caring for children from newborn up to 16 years old.

Elizabeth started working for us as a Maternity Nurse after the birth of my third child. I had had a c-section and was struggling with recovery on very little sleep and very active twin 4 year old boys. Elizabeth quickly helped to identify some latching issues and suggested we switch bottle brands, which helped hugely to relieve my babies wind and discomfort overnight. She was a huge help around the house, always doing things without needing to be asked. When baby was sleeping she would batch cook so that I had quick and easy meals for the boys after nursery. She was an absolute rock when my husband was deployed for work and kept me sane. I would recommend Elizabeth to anyone.
We have had Elizabeth help us out with our 4 children for about 7 years now. She is the perfect nanny and is everything we could ask for. She always arrives promptly, gets stuck in and always goes above and beyond. Our children love seeing her and have formed a lovely bond. She’s been there during special moments such as when we brought home our youngest two children from the hospital and she was even at our wedding taking care of the children.
Everyone at the wedding commented on how lovely she was. She has also been a big support to me during multiple health issues. I would recommend her services to everyone. Words can’t describe how amazing she is and continues to be.
Before working with Elizabeth, Harry would only sleep on me and would immediately cry when placed down on his back. I didn’t want to use any sleeping techniques that involved crying so reached out to Elizabeth for help. She was able to quickly identify an issue with Re ux (which I feel awful for not spotting earlier) and has given us so much support and guidance. We are now able to put Harry down in his own cot, it’s a miracle! He’s like a new baby. She also made sure I was OK and offered me support with my own sleep. I didn’t realise what bad habits i’d gotten myself into.

Nap resistant toddlers
As a professional nanny, I am regularly asked by parents what the ‘hardest’ age is and why. I always, without a second of hesitation, reply with, “Toddlers!”.
Toddlers are a whole new level of hard because they understand things, but still haven’t grasped reason or logic. Explaining to a toddler that you can’t stop the water from being too ‘wet’ is about as much use as trying to…
Sleep Associations
Learn about sleep association – this is an action that helps your baby to fall asleep. It is usually the last thing that your baby remembers before drifting off and acts to signal that it is time to sleep. Sleep associations can be both positive and negative and can often be hard to change.
Daylight savings – Surviving the “Fall Back”
When the clocks will go back an hour, officially signalling the end of summer (if the constant rain hadn’t given that away already) and the beginning of wintery darkness and being constantly cold. This “fall back” also means that my work load increases, as parents begin asking how to help their children with this change and prevent the dreaded 5am (or earlier!!) wakeups.
